Call for Proposals - ISLMA Spring Mini-Conferences

The Illinois School Library Media Association is planning two spring mini-conferences to provide additional professional development opportunities for school librarians. These events will take place from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm on Sat, April 21st at Central A&M HS in Mowequa, IL AND Sat, April 28 at Highland MS in Libertyville, IL.
We will need 8 - 12 persons per location to present 45-minute sessions on a wide variety of topics of interest to attendees. Topic areas may include library-related technologies, collection development/weeding/book repair, book talks, advocacy, eBooks/audiobooks, solo librarianship, CCSS implementation/standards-based instruction, reading motivation, special programs in the library, Battle of the Books/book clubs, etc.
Complete this form to propose a topic to present. Deadline to apply: Friday, Feb 17th. Applicants will be notified of their proposal status by Monday, March 5th. Contact Lisa Perez with questions. Watch for registration information in early March.
